What I've got is a double-length appointment at the dentist that day, possibly involving pliers, vice grips and impact wrenches.
Will I feel like changing to r-comps and axle-tramping my way down the quarter mile that night? I reckon I won't!!!!!
But you guys have fun...!

Yet again i can't make this event.
I'm very dissapointed, but it's the best for the running of the car. |

only a 15.3 this time, but that was because the car was gettin a lotta axle tramp... even changing to 2nd gear at redline the car would jump and get some wheelspin.. even though before the new lsd the car didnt have enuogh power for 2nd gear spin, and it jumps at 3rd gear aswell...
david/mitsiman tells me i just need a new semi-solid front engine mount, and maybe an anti lift kit to stop it because theres no 'give' from the wheels to the engine so the engine mounts cop nearly all of it on takeoff
should be easy easy 14s i reckon after new mounts tho... the papers show i ended up about .2 of a sec slower than last time (15.2et) over about the first half of the track, then clawed it back and crossed the line with a faster kmph and only a .1 difference
good fun tho
i bet a hyundai excel that got a whole 4.5second headstart |

Dave told me i can crack 13's without slicks and with the same set-up.
I don't trust him. |

yer i duno about 13s
unless you had really good wide street tyres or something
ive heard of a guy with the 6a12 in a lancer and with major weight loss on top of that and only getting 14.3, tho he could have had a few more mods (he had a cai, exhaust, fpr, 65mm tb) |

I think you are reffering to spetz from ftoaustralia.
He talks bout lots of mods thats he "going" to do, but never get done.
Never has shown a quarter mile sheet.
I personally think that no road tyre would have that much grip to get a 13 sec pass. I ended up spinning the wheels at below 3k rpm on pretty good road tyres. |
