Hey there all,

I am contacting you guys on behalf of a friend of mine who just purchased a silver FTO from a not-so-reputable car yard over here in Tassie.

The Tiptronic auto randomly says it is overheating, and goes into a 'limp-mode', yet the fluid is cold enough not to burn skin. And when the 2 plugs are removed from the sensor, and then put back on, it behaves normally again.

Any Ideas??
Its one of one 3 in Devonport, and no mechanics seem to really know what they are on about.

I had not experienced an FTO until I drove this one a few weeks back...
Wow!! What a blast. This FTO has Tein adjustable coilovers (with remote oil canisters)and strut braces front and rear. Nice predictable drift, 'sets up' perfectly with a little 'skandy' flick!!!

Thanks in advance guys,
My email is [email protected]
