Hyperdrive and Antilag.com have organized a dyno day for the 4 December 2004. Starting at 10am, cost is $30 per car

Hyperdrive is located at UNIT 1, 28 VALE STREET MALAGA

We have organized hundreds of dollars in prizes & trophies for the winners.
All categories will be catered for (4,6,8,rotor) forced induction and N/A.

There are also 6 other prizes to give out
* Car with the most potential
* Highest standard turbo power reading
* Lowest power reading
* Most in need of a tune
* Chic encouragement
* <-- We need a suggestion for a sixth

My car will not be competing, but it will get onto the rollers so we can all have a look.

Please post your interest to attend and a suggestion for the sixth category.

There will be food and drinks (Beer & Soft Drinks) available for a small cost.

If we have the interest there will be a small cruise afterwards

But seriously folks, if you put on a "highest n/a" prize it'll give us non-turbo vehicle owners half a snowballs chance in hell of taking *some* trinket home....!

Getting 149.1bhp was excellent, anyways! Especially seeing as Hyperdrive pulled up my old 146bhp runs from earlier this year and printed me a comparitive power graph pair. That meant I could see the difference the recently installed exhaust Y-pipe made - higher power between 5700rpm and 8000rpm, with no ill effects in the lower rev range. Nice.

Also, my dyno run was in 3rd gear, whereas and Adam's VTEC was run in 4th. The lower gear would apparently bump my result up by a few percent. Just don't ask me exactly why, as I don't understand it myself yet. Perhaps someone could explain it to me...

But yeah, it was kinda cool seeing two totally different high-revving FWD vehicles on the day getting close to 150 bhp at the wheels. Smile

Rich thank you, we need more FTO's do you know where we can find some? Why was there only 1 though?

on a side note antilag.com is a fantastic club which is getting huge exposure at the moment, i am not entirly sure why but it is, we are in the latest Hot4's with the pink 200sx on the cover, my car is on the last page of the cruise feature (white r33 side shot and on the front page of the shoot engine bay shot.)

i had no brakes until sunday.

With the amount of probs im having atm, i wouldn't be surprised if i have more in the future events. But i always try to attend.

well I would of attended if I could sell my car and get an FTO Laughing

sorry just finding it frustrating that I am not getting any serious offers for my car... and most of the GPX out there are tiptronics Confused

well I am glad that it turned out to be a good day for the club and as more of these cars start get imported into australia the better as they make a brilliant alternative to N/A car and not have the high insurance cost that many of the other turbo types have

I think I read somewhere that there is only 25 FTO's imported nto W.A each year is this correct does anyone know who has the import compliance tags for these cars
