Please feel free to post any comments, suggestions, etc. related to the FTO Drivers Club 'FTO Performance Driver Training Day' event (either before or after the day).

These driver training days are quite customisable, so if we want to organise another one that operates differently, they should be able to accomodate us.

As always, the latest plans are found on the 'Events' page on https://ftowa.allanson.org.

Plans are afoot to have a post-track get-together at Mark's place, straight after the MC Motorsport morning event... Fire up the barbie, have a few cold ones and talk about our worst driving stuff-ups around the traffic cones. :)

Registered members have been emailed. We should be able to confirm if this BBQ plan by Wednesday Jan 29th, assuming we have enough takers.

Mini Cruise

If anyone is interested we're going to have a mini cruise up to the MC's track on Sunday morning.

Meeting point is going to be the BP/McDonalds on the corner of
Wanneroo/Charles and Angove St (I think that's the name).
Try and get there between 7.30 - 7.45.
From there we will be heading straight up Wanneroo Rd until the big sign (right) points us towards the Kart track. Shold take about 30 mins to get there.

Alternatively, you can wait along Wanneroo until some FTOs whiz past. Shocked

Yeah, good work there! It was getting a bit silly as we knocked off 0.01 second from the "previous overall best" for a while there, so it was good to see you beat it by a good 1/3 second on your final run.

I was really impressed by the standard of driving yesterday! The difference was huge between Sunday's consistent good cornering/lines and the 2002 MC day (the "Fast In, Slow Out FTO Extravaganza").

Fred and Jules were spot-on, Leigh was way ahead when compared with the 2002 laps, and Zan was as ruthlessly precise as ever! Smile Great effort from everybody, basically.

So when's the next one??????????

hehe.
