Yep! Smile

Do you want an evening cruise around Perth, or something like a daytime drive out of the city (ie. weekend)?

The run to Dwellingup is great, and the Millhouse Cafe there is a good lunchtime destination. We've done that twice so far, and it's a good drive.

Another fine run is up through Middle Swan to Bindoon via Chittering Rd (route 359). One of the last great unspoiled roads "for drivers" in Perth.

i was thinking perhaps a day cruise where we can spend the whole day out together..maybe a whole day cruise...where we can start in da morning for breaky, then maybe head out to somewhere nice and serene, and then out for lunch...and tok about anything under the bonnet...(sky), and then maybe head back....

or we can just cruise around perth itself...

or maybe to mandurah or something...lol

anything will do....keke

Well count me in for breakfast ... those fast eddy's sausage and eggs specials are hard to resist. Smile

Not sure about the cruise at the moment. I'll have to see on the day if I can make it. Smile

You'd have to make Karri Valley an overnighter.

But what a great weekend it would be! Smile

Perhaps we should organise a shorter (day) event first. My personal thoughts...

Mandurah is a boring drive. 'nuff said!

The drive around Toodyay, Northam and York was patchy. Awesome drive from Pearce Air Base towards Bindoon, but fairly dull roads from then on.

Yanchep wasn't that interesting... unless you go via the old Pinjar Road. Past Yanchep is some seriously uninteresting tarmac! hehe.

The drive down to Dwellingup was very good. There are several worthy detours along the way, good food, and alternative routes there and back.

Any of those would be good for a day out. Now that Karri Valley idea... very cool! Rent a free-standing chalet or two and stay overnight. Best when it's freezing cold, hehe. Open wood fires in a chalet, beers, deck of cards.... Smile

i agree, i think the karri valley overnighter cruise would be a good one, but i think we should perhaps keep that idea for some other time, when possibly when we get more organised and have definite numbers of who is going first.

for now, how about a cruise to Dwellingup?? a whole day cruise? or half day?
richard u can perhaps make the map up, or the routes to take and debrief us all when u have decided on the day..

but hows about the timing? when are we going on this cruise? and just a show of interest, who else is going to turn up?....lol

Guys,

A great cruise would be thru city towards wanneroo down freeway. then through the back of bullsbrook up to Mundaring, there are some great roads up there and then back down to the city.

Views of the ocean. Views of the city in the hills and Great tracks. It's a good half day cruise.

Just thought I throw in an idea.

through the city eh...? i dun think we will like the traffic that much over there...

but maybe around the city, like the outerskirts of the city would be good. just to get those heads turning...lol, maybe also we can stop by at kings park, have a bit of a photo shoot...haha...and then cruise all the way down to mundaring, and then back up again for the evening shots down at millpoint...
maybe back to Carosel Fast eddies, where we can have a "show and shine"....lol

so, wassup?....any other ideas? or anyone else who might be interested in this cruise...atm seems like we got 3 FTOs attending...which isn't bad, cosidering u dun see much FTOs driving around in groups of 3s...lol

anyone..? else??
