Down at the South Perth foreshore? Yeah, just some friends! Smile

I was coming back from having a blast at MC's, trying out some new bushes. Stopped off for a bit of r&r at the river. Karen then came down with Katrina. The little 'un played furiously on the climbing frames until she jumped off something less than two feet high. Despite landing in soft sand, she broke her damn arm! :...(

We spent the late afternoon and evening at the hospital. X-rays, etc. etc. She's in a forearm cast now, and goes to see the specialist today. They may want to manipulate it back into place, or may just let it grow back into shape over time. She's not even 2 yet - so a lot of growing to do!!

So at one point it would have been: Spotted: FTO on race tyres, breaking the sound barrier on the way to ER!

ooh... that must've hurt.. i can't say cos i haven't broken anything b4.. maybe i have but i haven't had a cast on... god speed to her then..

i heard polyurethane (sp?) bushes don't last long at all.. not as long as the rubber variety.. am i wrong? i forgot the reasoning behind it

i passed the white gpr most probably along mill pt rd or scarborough bch rd.. as i remember the lanes weren't divided with islands and stuff.. and those were the only places i've driven on that day...

would be good if it was a real gpr! :/

Yeh i have yet to see a real GPvR in Perth. Thought you may have seen my fto. Its white and kitted with a GPvR kit since its a GX sports package...

However, i have spoken to a guy in perth who has a 2000 GPvR! Its going to feature in HPI soon....

Yeh i have standard GR wheels though. The last owner must have changed them....

No stickers. But i havent been around anywhere that you mentioned. I'm often around Northbridge, the city, alexander drive or on tonkin.... Around there....

I know i was in front of a silver fto on saturday night. Was at the entrance of an undercover parking in the city. Was reversing out and got beeped at... lol. was dropping a friend off..

Is evo and Guest the same person? I'm confused....

There are 3 styles of rims for the FTO:
1) Pre-facelift GR/GS Wheels
2) Pre-facelift AND facelift GPX/GPvR wheels
3) Facelift GR wheels (these look like hubcaps and i have yet to see one in australia.

Well my car is a 1998 but has the GR wheels of the pre-facelift model. So i assume they were changed by the last owner.

they looked like gpx/r rims to me.. even if it was rolling, u could tell between the gpx/r ones and the gr's.. is ur GR the aero sports something-or-rather edition? or just a GR/GPX kitted? did that make sense? :p

anyway yea I was "Guest" cos i forgot to login when posting.. or that i deleted the cookies.. Shocked

Mine is a facelift GX sports edition.
It has facelift front, and features of a GPX minus the mivec.

Mine came with the optional GPvR spoiler.

In the facelift series, the GR bascially had nothing... no spoiler, no climate control ,no momo steering wheel etc etc. Very different to the pre-facelift GR.

Mine is a GX which is a GR with many features of the GPX.
