I think it's time to organise another group meet eg Drags, dyno shoot-out...motokhana style day.

What do you guys think?

I had to redo my favourites shortcut to this forum the other day, as it got confused. Now Stupid Auto Login (tm) is working fine for me. Wink

Regarding FTO-related stuff happening, I'm finalising photo-shoot-2005 right now. Details will be posted this weekend!

Also, I'm competing at MC's this Sunday morning. Let's see if I can hold it together for another six courses and clock some competitive times again. I was 11th and 9th overall in the last two rounds, which means I'm pushing it pretty hard. Another 1% could get spectacular, hehe.

What if we organise a motkhana.........I mean Rich sort it out:)

Can we book our own course for the day rich?

I think we have better conditions to race rather than cruise.

Cruising is good around summer time.

Yep...

To get a cost of around $100 a head, we'd need 10 participants.

That would be a half day event.

If it's a "training day", there is no official timing gear. Timing (ie. competitive atmosphere) isn't in keeping with the insurer's plan for "instruction".

But if you're after a more competitive atmosphere, it may be possible to arrange such a thing. I know most of the MC individual motorkhana comp days haven't eventuated due to low numbers this year (most people are focusing on the "sprint" events right now), so perhaps we can take over one of those prearranged days. I'll find out!

How about "The Last Drop Brewery Restaurant" on Nicholson Rd, Canning Vale? http://www.lastdropbrewery.com.au/

Saturday, September 10th? That gives us enough time to get organised.

I'll ring them and confirm they are open for lunch, ask about bookings, etc. Also, I'll ask if Saturdays are in fact quieter than Sundays - a full carpark wouldn't be any good to us!

...and, if you want, you Northern Suburbs lot could arrange your own advance meet and mini-cruise down to the Restaurant.
