Only 3 weeks left before we stick the FTO in a crate and ship her to Perth. Only thing I'm not sure about is the registration procedure at that end. I've been told I can get a rego from the RTA?

Anyone have any experience with that and can point me in the right direction?

you will need to get an import approval to get the car into the country. as for registration there will be somethings you will have to do to the car no doubt to get it over the pits but they will tell you that..

unfortunately I dont have a massive amount of knowledge on personal imports.. but its not overly hard I dont think..

Tryign hard not to add it up to be honest! Approx 2k for container plus customs, cleaning, GST etc

MB...I did think about selling but with prices in the UK dropping and the price of FTOs in Perth there wasn't much in it to be honest.

That and the fact that I know the history of mine so figured better the devil you know!

i got a mate who can to the compliance work and get it registered. He has been bringing in jap cars for years and does compliance work for a couple of car yards that bring in jap cars

That would be very handy ftoltd, thanks. I've had the speedo conversion done but will need some other stuff I think.
