If anyone's after the good 98 octane stuff (as the pumps go dry across Perth), the BP on Berrigan Drive in South Lakes still had fuel this morning.

The one further down, at Beeliar Drive/Gateways, has run out.

Anyone know the reason for this happening? They didn't even have premium at some places.

Had to go to Shell and get premium from there as I was running on vapors on monday night Sad

A couple of weeks ago, the BP Kwinana refinery had a failure that stopped production. Some part called a catalyser, or something. Supplies are quickly drying up.

I'm driving Karen's "tuned for 91 octane" Magna where possible. But I do have a full tank in the FTO, plus 15 litres of Ultimate stashed in the shed for motorkhana-related emergencies! Wink
