Just had a call to say my FTO has cleared customs and should be ready to collect after steam cleaning next week ($500! )
I'll get her checked over as soon as she's registered. Can anyone recommend a decent garage down Rockingham way? |

Magic. Ready to collect next week, eh?
Don't know about Rockingham garages. I can recommend you talk to Mal at Crockenberg Motors, though - located in Welshpool. 9358 0302.

it's on the road
Failed the first inspection on lack of child restraint points and the chassis number not being complete under the bonnet. Sorted those and it's now licensed.
Ended up with HBF for insurance, there quote was way below the first one from Justcar so well worth shopping around.
Just pleased to have her back on the road, just need to repair the damage done during shipping now!
If you see a black one with a pommie accent on your travels, say hello |

Good one! Best of luck getting to grips with Perth drivers. It's a more relaxed, often incompetent form of insanity when compared against London style!
And I'm still up for that lunchtime beer in the city...

This particular example was an owner bringing in their personal car from the UK when they moved to Oz.

Lodle,
As Rich says this was a personal import that I already owned back in the UK. Happy to give you the details of they're of use though. All I can say is you gotta love your car! |
