Hello. I am new to this forum. I do a bit of work with custom mitsubishi's. At present I am doing the measurements on CH Lancer VR-X trailing arms. These may fit the rear of the FTO. What this means is that the brakes from the Evo 9 will probably then be a bolt on option for the FTO.(FTO stud pattern would not change). I will update when I know for sure. |

Hi. Welcome to the least busy forum on the planet!

Are you interested in the rear fittings because you want to preserve a full front+rear+everything-else swap of EVO brakes onto an FTO? For unchanged brake balance, etc.?
Or are you actually looking for an increase in the size of the rear brakes?
Just wondering...

| I got hold of a full set of evo 9 brakes off a car that was totalled. I tried them on my wife's CH lancer vr-x, and they fit perfectly over the handbrake & everything. Have to modify the backing plate of course. What I was looking for is an easy way to fit massive brakes all round on FTO's without having to fabricate parts. You can buy heaps of evo 9 stuff, and it would be good to know they can be fitted to other mitsubishis without too much trouble. |

| I have had the CE Lancer, CH Lancer and FTO rear trailing arms lying side by side and they all seem to mount the same. I know for sure the FTO trailing arms fit the CE lancer straight up. Handbrake cables fit easy as well. |

TheMitsubishiGuy would you know if a CH rear lower control arm would fit/replace an FTO's one?? because it would change the rear roll center for the better ... as far as my calculations go!... i've been wanting to know that one for ages!
thanks |
