i got a quote to have my timing belt replaced (and 5 seals ??) on saturday - $400
is this a good price ... cause i got no idea

seems cheap the original cam belt is usually about 300 just to buy be carefull non genuine belt has been known to fail prematurely ring malcom at crockenberg motors

The Bosch belts are also good replacements aparently, but they still cost abou $300. check what price the actual belt is by itsself.

Is it a difficult job to change the cam belt on a GPX. Iv'e done one on a 2.5 turbo diesel Pajero. is there any experience out there or has anyone dne it before.
