I've got an old Mitsubishi CAPS part reference CD set. Although I'm not very good at driving it (it's a pig), here's what I've dug out:

Differential Assy, M/T LIMITED SLIP
Internal part number 22603A
Manufacturer part number MD735332

Applicable Vehicle Models:
CA4A
CB2V
CB4A
CB5W
CB6A
CB8V
CB8W
CC3A
CC4A
CD3A
CD5A
C07A
CD8A
DE3A

The automatic transmission one is listed as internal part number 27690A, but there is no Manufacturer part number listed. The FTO (ie. 'DE3A') is the only vehicle type listed as applicable for this one.

So maybe ask around for 'MD735332' and see what comes of it.

Hope this helps!

Would you like to double check this for me please.

Hey yeah, that's the LSD part listed for models 1997.02.1 onwards. Smile

I'd used a full chassis number for a GP Version R I'd found on the web in my original query. Backtracking it from the part number gives a full list of vehicle models and dates.

1997.01.3 and before lists MD735332. After that date, it lists MD770978.

Hi peeps, an update.

I has sourced for the Mit parts numbers for the LSD, if anyone is interested at all.

The pre-facelifts LSDs are MD735332.
The post-facelifts LSDs are MD770978.

Both models fit the Manual and Tip versions.

Cusco also does LSDs for the FTO, but can only fit manuals.
The price of both the Mit and Cusco parts new are around the same.
100,000 yen.

Hope this helps.
