The GPX is in at the paint shop getting a big scratch removed. Damn, it's hard being without it!!!
Some bloke at work who parks next to me scraped his sedan nose across the side of the front spoiler, across the tyre and wheel arch and then out the other side! Duh... So it's all being redone - hopefully as good as new. Fortunately, the guy who did it left a note. Amazing, but it does happen... 
Hopefully, they will be able to fix the spoiler on more tightly than it was before while they're at it.
Additionally, I fitted a 4-point harness the other day, and the panel shop is gonna weld one of the reinforcing plates to the rear shelf for a more secure anchor point. So a fair bit of pampering going on!
They assured me it would be back this week, in time for Sunday's MC day. Then I can drive into traffic cones all afternoon and put more marks on the spoiler again!!!

If I can be bothered getting a permit for a couple of eyelet bolts that are unused on the road...
Me, I like my soft, squishy lap sash seatbelt on the road. It's got one of those pre-tensioner thingies in it, I believe... and I can look over my shoulder without putting my neck out! lol
Maybe I'll take it across the pits and get the bolts checked anyhows. You can't have too many pairs of eyes when it comes to safety equipment.
The most important thing, though, is to have everything on the car pass scrutineering when competing.

slap on a roll cage while ur at it hehe
for looking out... u can buy those small circular err... mirrors .. or a camera hookup
wat kind of seats are u using?
cos i would imagine some trouble with the harness if it was anything other than proper race-like recliners or fixed |

The FTO front seats are perfect for a harness!
The shoulder straps go through the hole in the seat back, which is correctly positioned for just such an eventuality.
Hmm, roll cage... nahhhhhhh.

Yay, it's back safe and sound. And scratch-free! 
Now I can drive like an idiot at MC's on Sunday and put some new marks on the front spoiler. And make it all loose again, hehe. Can't wait....

About $230, plus a few extra eyelet bolts for good measure. It's a 'Willians' brand, cheap end 4-point harness with a seatbelt style buckle - nothing too fancy.
Was a pain to fit!
