Hey guys,

I'd just like your opinion on the price of this FTO that just came on the mkt (ad).

$16,000 ono.
black 94 GPX
17"x8 rims (5spoke.. dunno the model/brand)
130000km
manual
Sony Xplod stereo system (sounds like just the deck to me)
6x9 speakers
looks lowered

i don't know if it was damaged previously or not.

the price (to me) sounds average, considering the k's the car has.

the car belongs to my gf's bro's friend. Im not sure if I should even consider it since I don't have a full time job yet. (Temporary F/T)

i'll put the Guy's name + Ph no. on this thread on Thurs cos i left the ad at my gf's place. Your opinions on it are welcome! Smile Cheers moite!

crap. i just had a look at http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/ and realised that both GPX and GP are MIVEC V6's. the ad said MIVEC V6 so i originally assumed that it was a GPX.

can i ask forum members on the commonality of the GP FTO in perth?
AFAIK i haven't seen a single GP. all I see are GPXs and GSs.

thx

Haven't seen any around. Was this a precursor to the facelift 'GP version R' then? Fairly rare.

It looks like it's got the basic spec aircon instead of 'climate control', non-folding mirrors, etc. Weight saving?

The only thing you can do is check the condition. Drive it. Pore over it. If it's an absolute pearler, drives beautifully, etc. etc. then consider looking again at the price issue...

nah.. weight's the same

GPX: Weight = 1170kg (5MT)
GP: Weight = 1170kg (5MT)

just less features i guess

yea.. hopefully i'll have the time to look at the car later in the week.

thx for your help Smile
