All you old hands have probably talked about this one before....

I need to get the rear parcel shelf out to replace the crappy factory 6x9's but even after undoing all I can see it still seems attached. I even took out the rear wiper motor....

If anyone could help????

I can't see a way of doin it without removing the seats and rear trim, there must be an easier way. If I have to take the seats out it might have to wait till I get some subs, to make the job worth while.

Taking out the rear seats is a 30-second job.

There are two clips at the bottom front of the seat base... pull them both forward. That removes the base (5 seconds work).

Then there are just two bolts at the lower left/right to get the seat back out.

But you're right about the parcel shelf. It is a total pig of a job, even with the seat back out!

Hey I'v been told the silver thing in the little compartment in drivers side rear of boot is a factory amp, is this correct?
Any one know its output 'cause mines not even hooked up to the factory speakers anymore. Dunno if they got lazy when they put 'em back in when imported or what.
Any help much appreciated as usual.
