Time to organise a cruise for the week before Christmas.
Mark A is coming back from the UK for a visit, and wants to take his mothballed GPX for a spin. He was one of the first Perth FTO owners I met back in 2000, and was the one who set up this website in the first place. I'm sure he'll enjoy a drive around Perth to jog some old memories.
Cruise plus lunch sounds good! Perhaps we could try that "Last Drop Brewery Restaurant" - the one we never made it to last time, hehe.
I'll make some enquiries...

FTO CHRISTMAS CRUISE
We are planning a small Perth cruise for Sunday December 18th. The plan is to meet at King's Park around 10:30am, have a chinwag, then head off for lunch. A final drive after lunch would see us finishing up around 2pm. This leaves plenty of time for any desperate, last-minute Christmas Sunday shopping you might still need to do!
Joining us should be Mark Allanson, a longtime FTO owner and joint instigator of the FTO Drivers Club, who is flying home to Perth for Christmas. He's planning on dusting off the FTO and coming out for old time's sake.
As always, this will be a relaxed drive, with everyone on their best behaviour. Partners and kids most welcome.
Lunch won't be anywhere fantastically expensive. I would like to book in advance, so please let me know by Saturday December 10th if you would like to join us.
Cheers!

The meet point will be Kings Park - Arthur Fairall Playground. The location is at the far western end of Kings Park, off May Drive (near Poole Ave).
Time: 10:30am, Sunday December 18th.
Of course, if you still want to drive around Kings Park for hours, be my guest. We'll wave.

Sorry we missed this. My FTO is still stuck in a container somewhere en route from the UK. Should be dusted off and ready for the next meet though
Hope it went well. |

Bet you're looking forward to the arrival of that container!
If you're in the city between Christmas and the New Year, give me a ring at work... 9321 1555. Go for a beer or something.
