The last couple of times I tried to organise something, I didn't get the numbers to make any kind of dedicated FTO only booking. If there is more interest now, I'd be happy to try again.

I can't organise anything right now... I'm looking to fly overseas for a month from mid-June to mid-July, then my wife's expecting a second little 'un in August. So pretty crazy year!
I'll still be trying to sneak in a competition drive in a week, plus another in July (if I'm back in time)...
...but if you want to get out there and drive, give any of the following a call...
- MC Motorsport
- MB Motorsport (uses same venue - AHG driving centre, part of long track)
- Max Auto Action motorkhana
...plus various Wanneroo-based clubs.
The MC "general training days" are a great place to start. I did 'em for 18 months to 2 years before actually doing any competition motorsport. Don't regret it for a second. It's all about seat time!

Judging by your placing at the last MC's event where you placed 2nd in your class.. all that seat time has really paid off.
Heya Rich. Long time no see. It's been too busy for me to keep up to date with what's been happening. But I did check out the results from John's last MC email and saw your placing in it. Awesome stuff!
Good to see that you're still giving that FTO a good workout on the track.
Any chance you might be wanting some spare parts? Like a whole car's worth of spare parts
Yes my car goes on the market this weekend
I'll try to put up a posting on the other forum thread about this. |

Hi Zan.
Yeah, so far in the series I've placed:
Round 1 - 2nd in class
Round 2 - 3rd in class
Round 3 - 2nd in class
I can't catch the PRB Clubman, but pretty well everything else in Class B and C is fair game. Last round, my time was quicker that all Class B drivers, and quicker than 9 out of 10 Class C drivers!
Can't beat the good drivers in turbo AWD, though. Oh well, hehe.
Don't know what I'm going to do for Round 4, though. The FTO goes into the garage to get a long-term oil leak fixed, and it will still be in there come July 9 Round 4 event.
So I haven't got a car!
Anyone want to lend me their manual GPX for the weekend (July 8 & 9)? I'll put my competition wheels and tyres on it, and throw in a free oil change for the trouble...
Anyone?

Ah, don't worry... I've rejigged things so I'll get the car back in time.
So it looks like there is no need to thrash anyone else's ride in July, hehe.
