I was wondering if anyone had heard of a Japanese importer called nifty.

They have quoted me the price of 94 fto at 250-300,000 yen (about 3k aus) I was wondering if anyone has recently imported and knows if this is about the right price.

Also someone mentioned on the forum stricter importing laws, anyone know whats that about. Im new to this import thing so any info will be useful.

importing under the new scheme is MUCH harder than before.. but you can still do it..

250,00 yen for a 94 fto sounds like it would be a GS which as far as I know is not eligable for import under teh scheme as it does not have the power/weight requirements.

I best advise to you would be to go thru a import "broker" as they only charge around $1000 and you get VERY good service..

when we imported fayes FTO we went thru japan performance direct and we got a awesome FTO at a good price with no hassles all the way thru.

check them out at http://www.japanperformancedirect.com.au

hope that helps!

It's not Lancelin or Bunbury you should be concerned about...

It's going around and around and around the MC Motorsport venue! Smile
