Hi,
Ive read that people have used King Springs to lower their FTO and was wondering which springs fitted the FTO, looking at their catalogue lists some imports, such as 180sx's, but no FTO
Anyone know which fit it, and also about what price I should be paying for such a set....

Thanks
SilentBob

I fitted King Springs on mine -

Front: KCFL26
- Lowered it by 25mm
- 30% uprated spring rate
- linear spring rate

Rear: KCRL46HD
- Same ride height as original
- 30% uprated spring rate
- progressive spring rate

You can apparently get them "reset" lower, for extra cost.

Hope those codes are still current... I did this 2 years ago now.

If you are in perth go and see wilkinson suspension. they are the WA king spring distributor. they have a big book of exactly what springs fit what.. so if they cant help you out no1 can!!

Generally you are looking somewhere in the region of $400-$450 fitted with wheel alignment etc, well atleast thats what it was when I went there..

When I first got my FTO, My local suspension guru suggested getting Kings to re-set the originals (by 25 mm). these have been on the car for three years now & work just fine (it's also cheaper than new springs).

25mm is the max that the rears can be dropped otherwise they become too short for the shocks. Also my car is an update '97 model with the deeper front spoiler, and to go any lower would wreck it (the spoiler).

If that's not to your liking, I understand that Kings have the spec for the FTO, and can make some custom springs to your specifications

Cheers from Queensland Very Happy
