|
|
We have been working hard on our production line turbocharger kit for the fto so we figured it was time for an update for everyone.
We origonally looked at a twin turbo kit but unfortunatly it was just getting too tricky with room so we went back to a single turbo kit using a Garret GT-28 series turbo which can be upgraded to a GT024R unit with no problems.
The test car which was loaned to us by a WA customer, has got the turbo, pipes etc all fitted except for the intercooler pipes which can be made any time on a customers car.
We are getting the car back on Tuesday and will of course take some photos.
From there we have to complete the oil and water line fittings and the kit will be ready for sale once we use the master kits to begin manafacturing of the items. We made this kit using the origonal exhaust manifolds so this will enable us to produce a cheaper kit than expected although pricing is yet to be confirmed.
We will initially make five complete kits.
The kits will come complete with
Turbocharger rated to customers specific requirements but initially comes with the GT-28 300hp turbo set to 7 psi
Oversize injectors and risign rate fpr unit
oil and water lines
Decompression head gaskets
dump pipe back to standard cat converter
We will also have available the Greddy E-Manage piggy back systems and eletronic boost controllers for tuning etc.
This test vehicle is not actually going to be run on the turbo but the kit is going to a customer in the eastern states so we will not have any dyno sheets etc available at this time.
Although I am sure that plenty of people will be posting there own results as they get the kits.
We will keep everyone updated and give some pricing out soon. Feel free to ask any questions though.
