not really, I have been looking around and found four gpx's for 15-16k in Perth. Im just deciding on what colour so far. Most of them are still under the 100,000km mark but only two are automatic.

I noticed that some of the cars were originally asking for 18-20k but they just can sell them. Its quite easy to get them down to the 17 mark.

Also Ive found allot of people trying to sell there ftos for 20-30k in Perth (eg extreme machines). Dont even bother looking its better to fly interstate as I have seen plenty of private sellers selling manual gpx's for 12-15k and its not that hard to find one for that price. Just get the car independantly checked by whatever RAC comparision that state has and if its OK just buy it and send it back. It cost me 500 bucks to get my car sent from Darwin to Perth.

Even if the car has some damage the extra 5 to 10 thousand you saved will easily cover getting a whole new bodykit and respray if there is any body damage. The report should have let you know of any mechanical problems so you should be fairly safe there.

With the way the yen has been this years these cars have been imported real cheap and can cover any loss you have from the new import laws. I dont think the new import laws therefor should have jacked the prices up, they theoritically should drop, especially with the decrease in people importing. Due to the new laws you are also guarenteed a much better car.

Have you check www.autotrader.com.au?

Prices start from $12,990 for a 1995 GPX 106,000km (QLD) to $32,990 for a rare 1998 GPvR (located in VIC) only 19,000km

G'luck and happy hunting Razz
