Hi,

I've just bought a 94 GPX, so thought I'd join the FTOWA forums Smile
I'm glad to see there is such an active FTO community in WA!

I have a question about the Japanese stereos (mine is stock as far as i can tell - maybe some new 6x9s in the back) Does anyone know where I can get the radio band expanded, and roughly how much it will cost me? Having just bought the car, I'm a bit skint Razz I've seen a few things on ebay, but would rather get it fitted by someone who knows what they're doing.

I'm still convincing myself that the car is really mine - I can't believe how damn goooooooooood lookin it is. We went for a drive through the Farmer Fwy Tunnel this morning to get the full aural effect of the modified exhaust. Biiig grins.

Hopefully I'll be able to add a pic of my car to the site soon.

Seeya!

Welcome aboard!

Sorry to have to tell you, but the goofy grin doesn't wear off! Smile

For a reasonably priced band expander, you could check out Jaycar. They have loads of that sort of stuff.

In fact, you can just go to http://www.jaycar.com.au and type in "japanese import" in the 'keyword search'. $45. Don't know if they are available cheaper anywhere, but I've never had any trouble with Jaycar kit yet...

Good luck!

- Rich

Great - thanks for the tips guys!

I'll keep an eye out for the next meet/cruise.
It will be good to put some names to faces... or in this case faces to names Wink

cya,
Tobe

It 's easy to fit . Just goes inbetween the radio and your current ariel .
Then attach the wire to any wire which becomes live when the ignition
is turned on.
