Is the timming belt for fto gpx is the same as the one for mits galant??

Coz i've just bought a '95 fto gpx and it's already 100k.. So it's the time to change the timming belt. i found that it's very hard to find timming belt for fto.

Anybody know a place to find this stuff in NSW??

But maybe ask the folks on the owners club bbs over there...

Try www.ftoaustralia.com , this is where their messageboard is now.

There is a BOSCH replacement belt that you can buy from coventry's, but i think they are a WA only company, and i cant remember the part number either Sad

i just snapped a timing belt in my 96 GPX, i keep blowing oil filters. mines only got 80K on the clock....
