female in distress!!!
abt 6 mnths ago i my car wouldnt start... so i took out my starter motor, fiddled around with it and it had been running smoothly until now.
same problem... car wont start and will only start if i giv the starter motor a lil tap. is it my starter motor or is something loose?? |

| sounds like your starter motor is on its way out, I know where you can get a good one for 300 |

Yes, dying starter. I remember one old car I had, where we always had to travel in pairs, with a long metal bar. Whenever we needed to go anywhere, person #1 would turn the key, and person #2 would bang the starter with the iron bar!! 
Mitsubi here in WA apparently have some FTO front cuts. Or you could see what other Mitsubishis have the same unit...

Another option worth trying is a Starter Motor reset. I had mine done at Mitsi in Cannington (Perth). Been working like a charm since then.
