Heh, the joys of buying on eBay. Confused

Just bought myself some PIAA Plasma Spark Blue Headlights & LEDs from eBay for dirt cheap. The lights themselves look fine, but I'm a little worried about the LEDs in the parking lights (figured that they'd match in terms of colour, but that's not the case). It seems to be a bit of a grey area with cops in general. Some say it's cool as long as the lights aren't red, some say that they have to be white / yellow or nothing.

Opinions? I'm going to cruise to a friend's and back tonight, so hopefully I won't encounter any difficulties. Laughing

i would say that the blue lights on the bottom is illegal, but then again like u said there is always a grey area...

but generally, something a cop would give u a yellow sticker for it...even if not, it attracts attention and gives the cop a chance to pull you over, and then gives u yellow sticker for something else...they always seem to find something to say about your car..

just got pulled over last 2 weeks...and he said he could have done me for my foglights...lol but the rule is that its legal as long as u dun have it on at the time...

but good luck and hope u dun encounter any cops...

Well I've been pulled over and fined for blue park lights.

No grey area with those guys that night. Smile
BUt I did drive around for a few months with that with no problems when going past police. Luck had to run out sooner or later.

And they wern't as blue as the ones in your pic.
Hope ya turn out alright.

Should probably follow up on what happened with these... Laughing

The same night that I posted this thread, I went for a drive to pick up some friends from Northbridge. I was about a minute into my trip, when one of those new traffic cop cars drove by. The guys inside had a long hard look at the lights before proceeding to pull me over.

I managed to convince them that I was literally just around the corner and was able to go and replace the lights immediately (basically plead ignorance), and got off without a fine.

Lesson learnt though. Rolling Eyes
