Hmm. That would be the day before the FTO photo shoot thingumy... Not so good from a sparkly car point of view.

Can we make it one or two weeks later than that? If so, I'll definitely be in!

Sure! Who are you? Smile

> what does the K&n pod filter do

(a) Generates lots of induction noise.
(b) Reduces intake restriction, if installed without terrible pipe sizing adaptors that do the exact opposite.
(c) Sucks in hot engine bay air, unless installed so it is isolated and therefore capable of ingesting nice cool air.

> any tips for launching a tip troninc

No idea - I've got a manual! Stamp hard on the throttle, I'd guess. Wink

Ive also got manual but heard just take it up to about 4000 rpm with the brake in hard then let go of the brake and stamp the throttle.

Take alittle bit to sort out wheel spin but once you master just how much throttle then you weill be ok.

K&N Pod Filter on my car

So who in the club is interested in coming down to the 4, 6 & rotaries on the 15 of October.

Is going to be a huge event this time going on the feedback so far.

WOuld be great to have at least 5 - 8 FTO vehicles hammering it out.

Theres going to be two FTO vehicles to my knowledge so far but the thing to remember is its not about who's teh fastest although that is also nice, but about who's the most consistant when racing under a competition.

As well would be a great chance to meet fellow Mitsubishi enthusiasts and generally have a good time doing what we all like to do - drive our cars hard in a controlled environment.
