We are at the initial stages of organising another FTO day at MC Motorsport.

Mark and his workmates are interested in attending.

I've also invited Mal Crockenberg along, and he's quite keen to join us.

We'll do the usual thing... I'll send an email out to all registered members with the plan details.

I'll probably still refrain from requesting deposits from everyone. Despite the couple of no-shows last time, we still got the "minimum" eleven drivers we needed, and kept per-head costs below $100. If that was the worst-case scenario, I'm not too worried!

So put a note in your diaries for the morning of June 28, and get ready to scare some traffic cones! Smile

Just remove the 45 metric tonnes of ICE gear you'll no doubt have stuffed into every nook and cranny! Smile

hahah there is nothing in the car yet.. all the stereo gear from the old n/a calibra went with it. Sad

but all is good.. gives me a chance to do some decent test driving etc b4 I make it heavier than it already is!!

Just for the record...

Mark A is looking to have 2 or 3 of his workmates along.

Mal Crockenberg is very likely coming.

And an old associate of mine (with a rather nice BMW) may be coming too.

So we probably won't have any difficulty with numbers this time, seeing as this hasn't even been officially announced to all members by email yet!!! Smile

How many cars/drivers can go on the day?

Ideally, between 11 and 14, we've found.

Below 11 and the total cost ($1040) gets a little much per driver. So 11+ gives a per-head cost under a hundred bucks.

More than about 14 drivers and you wait too long between runs, and don't get enough laps in during the 1/2 day for it to be quite satisfying enough. Smile

So I think we'll aim for 14 max this time, and we'll have a buffer of 3 no-shows before the $100 cost barrier becomes an issue!

This event has been officially announced by mailout to registered members. So it's now open season on confirmations for this event. Smile

Please let me know if you would definitely like to attend the MC Motorsport Performance Driver Training Event - June 28, 2003 (morning).

Cost: Less than $100.

Maximum number of drivers: 14

I'll pay the deposit again, and we'll sort out the cash on the day.
